14TH EDITION OF THE COURSE OF CIVIL-MILITARY COOPERATION – 2021

The 14th edition of the Course of Civil-Military Cooperation (2021) (CCIMIC) will be held at the Portuguese Military University Institute (IUM), from 15 to November 26, 2021.

The CCIMIC is a specialization course, which aims to enable students who participate in it with the theoretical and technical knowledge needed to perform tasks within the Civil-Military Cooperation Operations in the General Staff functions of national and international forces, as well as other organizations working in this field.

The CCIMIC is directed, in addition to officers from the Armed Forces, the National Republican Guard and friendly countries enabled with the Staff Course, to civilians belonging to organizations who normally collaborate with IUM, or are linked to the areas of defense and security, since qualified with a degree.

This action training is of particular interest and greater advantage, since it is well recognized the importance that the area of ​​civil-military cooperation has notably within the theater of contemporary operations, with a capacity of recognized relief and strong impact.

During the course will be conferred upon the skills and expertise needed for the planning of its use, while capacity available to a commander, and the care and attention given in the ongoing preparation and the quality of the trainers invited to this line of action will be the best guarantee to achieve those goals.
