Inserted in the 2nd Edition International Course of Homeland Security Studies, held on november 10 a OPEN DAY subordinated to the theme “HOMELAND SECURITY IN CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY”, in online format, where 11 experts presented extremely current themes with notorious relevance, having been present the 42 auditors of the Course and about 100 external auditors registered specifically for this event.
In the 1st Seminar, under the theme “Global Society and Security”, moderated by Colonel Luis Saraiva, had interventions by Professor Nélson Lourenço and Major Engineer Reis Bento.
In the 2nd Seminar, subordinate to the theme “Look at the World”, moderated by Lieutenant Colonel Cláudia Santos of Republican National Guard, had the interventions of Dr. António Mateus, Professor Ana Isabel Xavier, Professor Ana Santos Pinto, Professor Tiago Moreira de Sá, Doctor Luís Tomé and Professor Filipe Pathé Duarte.
In the 3rd and last seminar, subordinated to the theme “The challenges of Environmental Safety”, moderated by Professor Ana Paula Martinho, had the prestigious interventions of the Professor Engineer Afonso Teixeira, Professor Engineer Joaquim Poças Martins and Doctor Luís Portugal.
This initiative has enabled the acquisition of knowledge about a collection of themes of interest, standing out for its impact, its timeliness and relevance, patenting the importance of safety studies.
