The Critical Thinking and Structured Analysis Course (CTSA), was held for the first time at the Military University Institute (MUI), from February 17 to 21, 2020, in coordination with the Military Intelligence and Security Center. The Course, was taught by the trainers, Collin Patrick and Linda Royer, from the Regional Joint Intelligence Training Facility (RJITF) of the North American Command in Europe based in Molesworth, United Kingdom.
CTSA is a specialization course that aims to provide students with basic knowledge about tools and methodologies that allow them to explore styles of reasoning, solve puzzles and problems, build and develop argumentative products, identify logical fallacies and apply techniques in view of important aspects to information that allows the development of critical reasoning.
This edition of the CTSA, was attended in total by 15 auditors, of which, 13 military personnel from EMGFA, Navy, Army, Air Force, MUI and two from the Intelligence System of the Portuguese Republic.
